SPRING IS COMING ... 03/07/2010
I think this is the first year here in Florida that we have had such cold weather into the beginning of March and from what the weatherman is saying it is a first. But we do have some hope as in the past years that Spring will soon arrive with it's sunny days, the dew on the morning grass, the tweeting of the birds in the morning and the fragrance of the beautiful flowers that surround us without warning of their coming. Wow, how sweet the savor of life that is here on earth and much is taken for granted. Take a moment this day to walk outside and just pause and LISTEN, SEE, SMELL, & TOUCH the warmth of God's Love. Every minute, every moment that we are alive on this earth. Our God has chosen to give you and me the breath of life each second of every day, so that we can experience His love for us in the every day surroundings of earth, family, friends and neighbors for us to enjoy and grasp His goodness. Why are you in the dumps? Why are you feeling sorry for yourself? Why are you sad and weary? Why not, ask God to shower you with His presence by just stepping out your door and breathing in a breath of Fresh Air to give you a new perspective on your day. God has given you life and breath and what you do with that life is very, very important to Him. He not only wants you to breath His fresh air to renew and restore you, but most of all He wants you not to forget that He has given you all these things for your pleasure as His children and He want you to give this joy to others by letting them know that they have a Savior that can make them whole and new, just like he has done for you. TAKE ONE BREATH OF FRESH AIR TODAY & KNOW THAT "HE IS GOD"!!!!! Our prayer is that you know Him with all your heart. HAPPY NEW YEAR to All !!!!!! 01/04/2010
Well, Christmas has come and gone and this was Sim & I's picture for this past Christmas. Now, the New Year is underway. My thinking for the New Year is to have a fresh start to discover new things that God has in store for my life and maybe wrap up some old things I neglected in 2009. My New Year's resolution for this year, of which I don't make too many, is to spend more time with my family and friends. Most times we are so busy to even visit them that by the end of the year you sit back and look over the old year and think, wow, I really should have spend more time visiting the people that I enjoy being with. How can you put a price on that anyway, not likely, it's priceless. You probably won't ever forget those special memories. Sim & I had a good Christmas, we were in Kissimmee and relaxed a lot, which was good. We got to visit with my sister Donna & her husband Wayne (aka.. Butch) and really enjoyed seeing them and getting to spend time with them, which we don't often do with our busy lives. We also we blessed to see my super gal friend Cheryl & her husband Dean(o) as Sim and I say, and my God Son, Joshua and his family, with wife Stephanie (and baby girl to come) and his 2 boys, Jonah & Jayden. What a special time with the kids, they are a riot, and I just love the energy they have and wish I could have some of that back. I did really miss my other family members; Momma (Thelma), my sisters and bro-in-laws, Dot (Gene), Diane (Earl), Shirley, and bro & sis-in-law Ira (Brenda) that live in Pennsylvania and Sim's family; Daughter Pam (Mark) and grandkids Ben & Sam and Sim (Joy) and grandkids Chrissy & Matt, and some other family and friends but we are connected in spirit and they all know that they are loved and appreciated. CAMA had a great year with many community events and many doors being opened for the organization. Our new Christmas CD was released in November and we just THANK God, all the CAMA Singers, and everyone who made it possible, with those giving donations to the cause and those that requested the CD's. We know that others will be blessed and we know that God will work on their hearts through the CD to win them over to Him. We truly believe that through our prayers for the CD distributions we will be blessed in knowing that others have found Salvation through our music. It may not be known by us, but God knows and we know and trust that His Word is never in vain. If you would like to become a partner with us to spread the gospel through music, you may become an Annual Sponsor of CAMA. We lend training to beginning singers and we are always trying to show new avenues to help others reach their music ministry goals. You don't have to be a singer or a musician to help our non-profit organization and your donations are Tax deductible. THANKS to all of you who have supported us by your memberships as a sponsor and as artist members, those of you who have given one-time donations, and those of you who have supported us with purchasing our CD's. WE PRAY YOU HAVE A HEALTHY AND BLESSED NEW YEAR!!!!!! Nancy J. Suter, CAMA President ps. Smile, have fun and look up, when things in life seem down. Christmas is not far away! 09/02/2009
