 D.J. Wiltse

DJ Wiltse is from Pomona Park, FL .  DJ has a tremendous bass voice and is dedicated to serving His Lord in all that he does.  He loves music and has been involved in many community and church events.

Mission Statement:    To praise and glorify my Lord and Savior in song.    I married my high school sweetheart, Gail, nearly 43 years ago and we have three daughters and four grandchildren.  For years I have enjoyed singing bass in various community choirs such as St. Johns River Community College Viking Singers and Riverside Chorus,  First Presbyterian (Palatka) Renaissance Men, Howe Memorial United  Methodist Choir (Crescent City), and am currently a member of Crescent City Community Gospel Singers and St. James United Methodist (Palatka) Chancel Choir.  More recently, I have sung solos at The First Presbyterian Churches of Crescent City and Palatka, Howe Memorial United Methodist, Word of Faith Bible Church of Crescent City, Mission Rally at Lemon Heights Baptist Church, Bostwick Blueberry Festival, and Bostwick Baptist Church Fall Festival.   I have also enjoyed appearing in several plays presented by the River City Repertory Company (Palatka) and South Putnam Players (Crescent City). Then three years ago, I combined my interests in drama and singing by playing the lead male role in the musical "South Pacific."   Another of my interests is missions. Beginning with Alfalit Latin American  Awakening experiences in Costa Rica, Peru, and Bolivia, God has lead me to  share His love throughout Latin America on United Methodist Volunteers in Mission trips to Cuba, St. Maarten, Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Ecuador. Even though I've been a lifetime church-goer, it wasn't until I taught in a private Christian school in Jacksonville in the early 70's that  od showed me something was missing. There I accepted Jesus as my personal Savior and invited Him into my heart.

Misson Statement:  My Goal in life is to worship God with the gift He has given me in music.
I will serve and trust Him.  I want to inspire others and teach them about Jesus.

Ever since I could talk I loved to sing.  I have wonderful  music teacher, Glenn Calcote‚  great friends and family that support me.    The gift God has given me in music has also allowed me to play the piano.  I enjoy that a lot too.
My song “You Are My Light” expresses my walk with God.  God is my  light and I shine for Him in all I do.  I love to sing at churches and I’ve sang at many nursing homes.  I know it touches others but most of all it touches me.  I love to sing for others because I know what I do for others I do for Jesus.  What brings me the most joy is seeing others being saved by what God does through me.  I trust God and believe no matter what He’ll always be there.

Jamie Pitts

Jamie's tremendous voice lends to his country gospel sound.  He is a member of the First Baptist Church of Middleburg and is not a stranger in singing at community and church events.  The song that was chosen to record on the new CAMA CD is by a Texan singer/songwriter Del Way and the title is "Just Find Jesus", and you just have to hear it for yourself.  One of Jamie's hobbies is bowling.  He loves to tell others about Jesus through his music and travels to different cities for different events to perform gospel music.

On January 29, 2010, Jamie had the honor to open for one of the greatest of Gospel Groups, Jeff and Sherri Easter, who is a well-known part of the Gaither gatherings.
Jamie gave a superb performance and his testimony and his wittyness gave a special touch to where his heart is when he sings for the Lord.

If you would like to have Jamie sing at your event please contact us at camainc@aol.com

Psalm Riders  (of Middleburg, FL)

Picture
Dana & Margaret (Maggi) Roscoe are from Middleburg, FL.  The two met in church and Dana invited Maggi to play music with him and then from their they were married in 2006.  They have been singing for the Lord and traveling doing concerts and special events ever since.  Calvary Christian Center has been her home church since 2001.  God prepared her heart for her future husband Dana, by letting her get involved in music writing and playing and the music is what brought them together.  Maggie has attended Bible College and has taught seminars and she says she has a well-rounded Christian experience.  Jesus is Lord of her life and she can testify to the goodness of God and He has provided for all of here needs and the needs of her 10 children to a previous marriage.

Dana was born in Oceansied California and was pretty shy and which he never thought of music.  At the age of 16 he was interested in playing the guitar and he taught himself.  His interest in music grew stronger and he wrote songs.  Later, he  met a friend and they decided to form a rock band, which led to many unhappy trails in life.  In 1982 he realized he couln't take the pain of life any longer and ask Jesus for His help.  In 2000 he finally found a home church in Calvary Christian Center and met Maggi.  Dana in March 31, 2008 he was operated on and died and resurected that same day.  Today, Dana says, He stands before the Lord blessed with the talent that was placed in him.  I play guitar and write songs.  I stand with the most beautiful wife a man could hope for.  My maggi is my rock and motivation as well as a blessed lyricist.  Each tomorrow is a gift from God and I thank Him.  No mater what anyone thinks just remember that they don't have the final say, God's opinion is the only one that matters.

When the two were married in 2006, the Psalm Riders was birthed by God and they have been writing and singing ever since.

ANNA  (Weezie) OVERPECK

Picture
Weezie was born in Yazoo City, Mississippi and transferred to Palm springs, FL in 1958.  She met and married a loving and supportive husband, Dave and had 6 devoted children.  Around 1975 her two brothers, and sister-in-law came together with two exceptionally talented guitar players and formed a contemporary Gospel group.  They traveled wherever the Lord opened a door for them like; flea markets, fairs, prisons, nursing homes, coffeehouses, churches to the Breaker's Hotel in Palm Beach.  What fun they had singing for God.  Weezie's younger brother was called to Nashville, of course that leg of her journey was over in the 80's, but God blessed me immediately with a Southern Gospel Group already traveling around S. Florida call " The Florida Harvester's" and good friends to minister with, until Dave was tranferred to Connecticut in 1998 for 2 years.  After that time we moved to Keystone Heights, FL and have been here for nearly 10 years, and sorry to say that the Lord didn't see fit to use me in the music ministry but we are members of the Keystone First Assembly of God, under Pastor David Mayer.  Then like a moth to a bright flame to the wonderful ministry of CAMA, Inc.  and the family atmosphere as I have felt, in my limited time with them.  I look forward to the future, no matter what it holds for me, because the Lord is doing a powerful work in these days and Dave and I are happy to be a part of it.  "Life is a song . . . Sing it!"
