March 2009 - AZALEA FESTIVAL & PARADE
At CAMA we were blessed by having a Stage on 3rd Street this year in downtown Palatka for the Azalea Festival. This happened because of Julian Ferguson, the coordinator for the entertainment for the event asked us to participate, which was our 1st year with our very own street stage. This event couldn't happen without a lot of the business men and women in the town like Sam Deputy of Graphics II and many more. CAMA couldn't have done it without these dedicated singers and volunteers who were willing to get up in the wee hours of the morning to set up the gazebo and sound equipment, and then sing all day and gather all the belongings up at the end of the day. They were; Ralph Lambert a CAMA Sponsor and volunteer, Lindy Norman and Debra Hirsch who are CAMA Artist Members, Reflection Band; Christina Christian, Alana Christian, Ashley Mickler, and Brookly Mickler, along with Mary Beth Christian and Marcus Mickler who didn't play or sing with the band that day but are all CAMA Artist Members and Sim, my husband who is my support system. Christia Thompson was the 2nd place winner of the 2009 Peace Rock sponsored by the Lee Conlee House to appear on stage at various CAMA concerts for the year, and she sang on stage for her special appearance and what a voice. We also decorated a float for the Parade and the trailer was donated by the Men's Fellowship Organization for that day and trailer hitched a ride on Ralph's SUV vehicle. Thanks to everyone for their support and their faith in us as an organization and we will see you all at the Azalea Festival & Parade 2010.

April 11 & 12, 2009 - FESTIVAL OF FAITH - St. John River front Amphitheater in Palatka
We had 2 days of beautiful weather on the St. Johns River for the Festival of Faith. The Festival of Faith was sponsored by the Palatka Christian Service Center, an organization based in Palatka that helps the needy by providing food & clothing along with financial assistance. Our CAMA Artist Members were there for the 2 days singing, jammin' and just praising the Lord. There was a prayer tent where people could go to speak to God and prayers were going up all over the place for those 2 days. They had other activities for the kids and adults with rides, food, craft vendors. Then on Sunday for the Easter Sunrise Service there were approx. over 350 people attended the event at the riverfront amphitheater. CAMA had a wonderful time witnessing for the Lord through song and we had a super time being together as body of Christian's that gave support to the Putnam County community. We pray ALL Churches and Denominations will be counted by taking part in this most blessed event for 2010. Thanks, Palatka Christian Service Center.
